Treharrock Manor was built in 1815 in an elegant and spacious style. It is set in 14 acres of its own grounds amongst farmland about 2 miles inland from the historic fishing village of Port Isaac.
The Georgian house, which is furnished with many period features, provides excellent accommodation for up to 20 people. The house has a warm and relaxed atmosphere in keeping with its setting. The accommodation comprises:
Ground Floor: Entrance Hall, Drawing Room (with piano and open fire), Dining Room, Playroom (with TV / Video / DVD), Study, Large Kitchen (with Aga and electric cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer and portable Radio / CD player), scullery with washing machine and tumble dryer, pantry with dishwasher and cloakroom with shower.
First Floor: Elegant staircase and landing leading to seven front bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 double, 4 twins (one with a third bed that can be made up on request), 1 single; all rooms with washbasins). A further four bedrooms are located off the rear wing (1 king bed, 1 double, 1 twin (can be made up as a double on request), 1 single). A travel cot is available without bedding. Three bathrooms (one with shower over bath), a further shower room and two lavatories are available.
Other facilities include: central heating; basement with table tennis and ¾ size snooker table; Fixed telephone line; WiFi.
The house is situated overlooking a private valley surrounded by lawns and sheltered by mature woodland. The garden features a summer house, a stream with ponds, bluebell woods and an all weather tennis court (renovated 2017).
Access to Treharrock is via a private (bumpy) drive ¼ mile long, shared with the Coach House.
Bookings for Treharrock operate on a Friday to Friday basis (shorter bookings can be arranged outside school holidays).
Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and normal cleaning costs are included. No stag, hen or single sex groups permitted without permission in writing. 3 dogs permitted at a cost of £30/week each. Due to the presence of the ponds and the stream visitors are requested to supervise children in the grounds.
